Matthew Bacher
Matt Bacher is a graduate from the University of New Mexico in 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Film and Digital Media Arts (FDMA). During an internship on a Disney film shot in Albuquerque, He spent three weeks with the camera department, which ignited his passion for the field and led him to join the International Camera Guild (ICG) Local 600 as a Digital Utility. He has since worked on various independent films, capstone projects, and union sets, including as a PA on a Chevy commercial and best boy for the short film, “This is the End of Us.” With his education and training from UNM, Goodwill Industries, Stagecoach Foundation, and IATSE, he is well-prepared for a range of roles in the film industry.
