Film Prize Jr NM Mentorships
Raton Middle and High School students may sign up to recieve free professional mentorships from El Raton Media Works for their Film Prize Junior New Mexico submissions. Students create a short film to show on the big screen and compete for scholarship awards.
Intergenerational Digital Storytelling
This FREE PROGRAM teaches youth how to use media-making tools while connecting them to another generation. Youth will learn to conduct and record interviews with their chosen family member, and then will create a short video using the story, digitized photographs, found images/videos and graphics to help tell the story. Sample completed projects are available to view on this YouTube channel playlist.
By appointment only. 4 class participants minimum are required to host a two-day workshop.
